Everything you need to know before playing Trazo.
Trazo is a free daily word puzzle: you guess today's word as its written shape is revealed, guess by guess. It is built so Latin, Arabic, and Chinese or Japanese answers all play the same way — the reveal is the glyph, not a letter-slot grid.
Type a guess and submit it. A wrong guess peels back more of the answer's shape and tells you how many writing units it shares with the answer. You have six tries. A correct guess wins immediately.
Each language has its own answer list. Today's English word is not translated into Spanish or Japanese — those locales get their own word, so the puzzle feels native rather than like a dubbed English game. Everyone playing in the same language gets the same word that UTC day.
Yes. Trazo is free, with no account, login, or purchase required to play.
No. Trazo has no accounts or logins. Today's progress is remembered in your browser's local storage, and a shared result is stored only if you finish and share.
When a round ends, the guesses you typed are sent to the server, which scores them against today's answer and returns a link. The share card is a row of coloured squares — it never includes the word itself, so you can post it without spoiling the puzzle.
Trazo is playable free in any web browser. There is no native iOS or Android app.
